When I was growing up, my favorite time of day was when I was allowed to make and create. I loved building environments for my pet reptiles and amphibians. As I got older, this love never faded, and eventually I went to college to study art. In depth training led to a passion for glass above all other materials.

I use glass as my artistic medium for many reasons. Using traditional and unconventional techniques, I work to push the limits of glass and create new bodies of work that capture qualities unable to be produced with other materials. I love the challenge each piece brings.

I enjoy diving in my spare time and many of my pieces are directly influenced by these explorations. Unfortunately, the coral reefs I fell in love with are dying faster than they can naturally reproduce. I love recreating colorful coral and sea life in my glassworks to raise awareness for reef restoration.
